Ms. Cori Juncker
Hello, I’m Cori Juncker.
I founded Create and Learn Lab in August of 2022, inspired by my deep passion for education and my belief that children thrive when they are nurtured, challenged, and inspired to explore. In 2025, Create and Learn Lab evolved into Motivating Minds—a reflection of our growth, our expanding vision, and our ongoing commitment to fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.
With over 25 years of experience in education, I’ve had a rewarding journey. As a proud mom of three wonderful young men (twins aged 23 and 25), I’ve had the privilege of growing up in Costa Mesa, attending Irvine Valley College, Cal State Fullerton (where I earned my B.A. in Child Development), and National University (where I earned my Master’s Degree and Teaching Credential). My career has included roles as a preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, preschool program evaluator, and educational coach with the Orange County Department of Education.
Creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and shine brings me immense joy. Teaching and enriching the lives of young learners is not just my profession—it’s my passion. With my experience and enthusiasm, I’m confident your child will thrive and feel supported every step of the way.
My ultimate goal is for every child to discover their unique strengths, embrace learning with excitement, show kindness to others, and most importantly, find happiness in the process. I look forward to getting to know your little one!
Mrs. Jazmin De La Torre
Hello everyone, my name is Jazmin De La Torre.
I began my tutoring career at Create and Learn Lab in 2023, where I discovered my passion for supporting students through personalized instruction. In 2025, I became a partner at Motivating Minds alongside Ms. Cori Junker, expanding my work to reach more students and families in our community.
I am a credentialed teacher with a Bilingual Authorization Credential, which enables me to effectively support students from diverse language backgrounds. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages, adapting my teaching style to meet their individual needs and learning styles.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Adolescent Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy walking, biking, cooking, and exploring new destinations. These experiences enrich my perspective and allow me to bring creativity and cultural awareness into my work with students.
Working with children has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and growth inspire me every day. Seeing that spark of understanding in their eyes is what drives my passion for education.

A custom curriculum will be developed for your child based on individual needs. These are sessions to support children who need an academic boost or children who need more challenging work.

Pre-K Group Time
During group time, children come together to learn, share, and have fun as a community! Through songs, stories, and interactive discussions, students build their vocabulary and strengthen their language skills. They practice listening, speaking, and expressing their ideas while engaging with their peers in meaningful ways. Each day brings new opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together!.
